The Lizard of Oz is a fun, family show full of adventure and great songs created by the team behind the hit feature film Backyard Ashes! The show can play in¬theatre or can work outdoors and is full of amazing costumes and plenty of laughs! 

Set in the wonderful Lizard of Oz Dotty and her pet Blue Heeler Dodo are mysteriously transported (via Cyclone Matilda) into the middle of Oz!

Dotty and Dodo must get home but on their way they encounter a zany Emu in his flying machine. The Emu explains that he has lost the ability to fly and he is off to see the Wonderful Lizard of Oz to give him back the power of flight.

Along the way they encounter a politically correct Kookaburra who has lost the ability to laugh and Bitza, the Platypus, who is made up of so many different animals that he has lost his sense of identity. What a messy bunch of ratbags!

They all join Dotty and Dodo on their journey to see the Lizard of Oz for help. But along the way this curious quartet, encounter some crazy Australian icons that will have you laughing yourself silly or shivering in your crocs!

Oh Yes! Be afraid! Be very afraid of Arachna, the Insidious Spider of the Speewah! Watch out for the Corruptible Croc of the Coast! And be careful of the petrifying Paterson’s Curse! Perhaps they can only be saved by Katrina Pavlova, the Delectable Dame of the Darling Downs!
